The Show:
Doubtful Guest is a new live concert project featuring former members of Godsmack, Everclear, Candlebox and Kid Rock fronted by American Idol rocker finalist, Siobhan Magnus.
Guitarist Peter Klett (Candlebox), guitarist Kenny Olson (Kid Rock), drummer Tommy Stewart (Godsmack, Fuel) and bassman Sammy Hudson (Everclear) have joined forces with newcomer Siobhan Magnus (American Idol season 9 sixth place finalist) to "re-present" their hits and personal favorites from the nineties in concert, while developing new original music as a working band.
Godsmack, Candlebox, Everclear and Kid Rock have a combined proven track record of hits (over sixty million sales worldwide). The added visiblity of a recent American Idol finalist offers this project a huge social media base from which to launch.
The Nashville-based band recently played a national industry showcase in Nashville after a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Band Member Bios:
Siobhan Magnus Vocals
Siobhan Magnus has spent her life singing and listening to rock music. As a finalist on American Idol she showed the country a powerful young vocalist with plenty of rock and roll attitude. The youngest member of the band, Siobhan is thrilled to have the opportunity to reinterpret some of the music she grew up listening to. She released her first solo album, Moonbaby, in January of 2012.
Peter Klett Guitar
Candlebox guitarist Peter Klett is a self-taught guitarist, playing since age 11. He was born in Seattle, WA and was raised on AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. Later influences include The Verve, The Doors and CSNY. Former bands include Asylum and Toxx Lrae. His future plans include world domination and his words of wisdom are: "Try, try again."
Tommy Stewart Drums
Tommy Stewart was the original drummer of Godsmack, playing with them for two multi-platinum albums, Godsmack and Awake. He also co-wrote the single Bad Religion from their self titled debut. Tommy has toured and recorded with numerous bands including Lo-Pro, Fuel and Everclear.
Sammy Hudson Bass/Vocals
Sammy Hudson is a recent Nashville transplant from Seattle, WA. He is a veteran touring/session bassist and vocalist and an accomplised song writer. His primary work has been as the long time bass player for multi-platinum rock band Everclear. As a member of that group Sammy has toured all over the world as a headline act and as support for iconic acts Tom Petty, Metallica and The Rolling Stones.
Kenny Olson Guitar
Kenny Olson started playing guitar when he was 10, and it was indeed love at first riff. Olson’s claim to fame came when he joined forces with Kid Rock, making an indelible contribution on stage and in the studio. As founding axeman of Kid Rock's band and co-writer, Olson performed on major albums, all of which reached platinum status, several or many times over: Devil Without A Cause (1998);Cocky (2001); Kid Rock (2003); Live Trucker (2006).
